socialoutcast
I have a linux dedicated server setup on my CentOS 7 system. Here is my settings.ini Quote [network] default_server_name = SavageNetworks Dont Starve Together default_server_description = Welcome to SavageNetworks server_port = 10999 server_password = password # max_players = 1 .. 64 max_players = 64 # pvp = true | false pvp = false # game_mode = endless | survival | wilderness game_mode = endless # enable_autosaver = true | false enable_autosaver = true # tick_rate = [ 10 | 15 | 30 | 60 ] tick_rate = 60 connection_timeout = 8000 server_save_slot = 1 # enable_vote_kick = true | false enable_vote_kick = true # pause_when_empty = true | false pause_when_empty = true [account] dedicated_lan_server = false [STEAM] DISABLECLOUD = true [MISC] CONSOLE_ENABLED = true autocompiler_enabled = true Sadly no matter what I do I cannot get the server name to change from [Host]'s World. Any ideas? The server starts up and runs I just want the name changed. ToNiO55
@socialoutcast now it's not settings.ini, it's cluster.ini path directory by default: Windows: /Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\MyDediServer\cluster.ini Linux: /.klei/DoNotStarveTogether/MyDediServer/cluster.ini Mac OS X: /Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/MyDediServer/cluster.ini Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/69019-linux-dedicated-server-stuck-with-hosts-world-for-host-name/#findComment-809494 Share on other sites
LawaBoy
Greetings, I have tried to copy both a settings.ini and a cluster.ini into the following folders and it just doesnt want to read the info, on the server Browser it says the same as allways: "[Host]'s World" .klei/DoNotStarveTogether/Cluster_1/Master/ .klei/DoNotStarveTogether/Cluster_1/ .klei/DoNotStarveTogether/ .klei/ For the info: [network] default_server_name = [NO]DG Gaming Server default_server_description = Norwegian Don't Starve Together Server server_port = 10999 server_password = max_players = 1 pvp = false game_mode = survival enable_autosaver = true tick_rate = 30 connection_timeout = 8000 server_save_slot = 1 enable_vote_kick = true pause_when_empty = true [account] dedicated_lan_server = false [STEAM] DISABLECLOUD = true [MISC] CONSOLE_ENABLED = true autocompiler_enabled = true Now I have tried most of the stuff thats written everywhere. Is there anywhere I can learn how to make a Dedicatred Server for this game without being feed wrong information?
