Make cat tails renewable.

Recommended Posts

I've played this game for a couple months now and have only seen one person wear a cat cap, and I've seen zero people use the whip. So, I'm gonna suggest that cat tails be a drop from tumbleweeds or make catcoons spawn indefinitely, or make it a high tier gift from catcoon. If cat tails were to drop from tumbleweeds, then they should probably be as rare as gears or beefalo fur.

Well, it isn't all that great compared to the other choices, after all.

I don't see people wearing feather hats either.

Just so you know, for DST, catcoon dens will regenerate the first day of the next spring, or within the first 15 days of the next spring if you have less than 15 days before spring starts.

So if those stumps are still there, catcoons will return.

Even with infinite tails, you won't see people use the whip.

Tentacles are better used on rain coats for new people.

Wow, didn't know stumps regenerated every spring. So that'd make catcoons renewable even after their 9 lives end?

Yeah, unfortunately the cat cap sucks, but looks cool. I'd use the whip in some situations though because its unique long range. Poking people in pvp with the extra range would be funny. Also very easy to kill rabbits and beardlings with it.

As long as the stumps remain, yes.

If you torch them or hammer them, then no.

If you time it correctly, you can attack a tentacle from outside its hit range with the whip. So you can kill tentacles with no issue.
