Died in cave. Now sinkholes are blocked.

I have been playing DST for some time now and this is the first time I have died in a cave.  I hadn't found the respawn portal or a touch stone yet so I decided to see if I could go up the stars and sure enough I could.  Upon my return to the sinkhole after respawning in the overworld I find only that "The Earth itself rejects me".  Is there a way to re open the sinkholes for myself and friends or are they gone forever along with all my goods I left on my corpse?

This is the default message, when examaning cave entrances. Your cave is not open. The reason should be found in the log file.

So I am looking at the logs and have no idea what to actually look for so here is what I found.

You guys really need to check your mods first. Most times the mods are doing the strange behaviors. I don't wanna be rude, but its not fair to let us guess, which of the 1000 mods you ve installed that caused trouble.

 

So, if you wanna use your mods again, try to update the mods that are being installed on your (cave-)server.

It had been saying that the mod was out of date for about a week and a half while in a map yet the site showed no change to version and also did not show an update for it in the in game mod list.  The update that showed up was shown to be released on the 16th of April.  I try and do my due diligence when it comes to updating and deleting older mods that will no longer be receiving updates or are not supported.  In this case the game saw the mod as out of date and the creator of it hadn't made an update yet, it seems.  That or the mod update was not available to the general public yet.  This is why I found it strange and wanted to ask for help.

Either way it is fixed with my friends and I able to continue our game.  Thank you again for helping me with my issue!
