Transfering mods?

Title says it, anyway of transfering mods from steam to standalone? I would guess that its copy pasting the mods folder from one to another

am i right?

If you're talking about using a mod designed for DST in DS, then, no. It generally won't work.

This post

lists a number of things that have to be changed when changing a DS mod to a DST mod. Thus reverse changes have to be done when changing from a DST mod to a DS mod.

Do you mean from steam version of DS to standalone version of DS? That is, this has nothing to do with DST, which is the current forum of this thread?
