loled
I am happy because i see the caves in my server , so i think there is a good reason to trade information on caves. I havent played again caves in Rog (just vanilla). SO i may be biased. Ruins seem to be same universe with caves. Also, there seems to be many entrances to the same world of caves. Not many small caves. In my short test, i can tell there are no wild fires in the caves. It seems logical since the wildfire option is only in the surface "forest world". I put wildfires to more i didnt see any fire in caves. So i assume there are not wildfires You can freeze in caves, i didnt test about overheating. Can you farm plants? I tried wickerbottom books on plants, it had no effect. (though i have to say i did on winter) ANy info? TemporaryMan
You've got it mostly figured out. It is possible to overheat in summer (barely), but it never gets hot enough for wildfires. Plants (including flowers) will only grow in places with natural light. Light plants will cycle on and off over time and spider queens... sleep a lot for some reason? And there's lesser glow berries and mushroom spores now. loled
Ok, i tested in summer. Only 5 days left, 2 people, no one got overheat, we didnt even have summer cloths or cold stone. Just once every 3 days sitting in the endodermic fire pit. Even then it was a precaution, we didnt actually went close to overheat Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/64243-cave-questions/#findComment-723364 Share on other sites
