I know this has been suggested before, but it'd be easy(ish) to implement and would be a good way of stopping fruit items from spoiling so quickly (e.g. bananas spoiling as soon as I want to eat them), as well as giving an alternative to jerky for those who rely on farms and stuff for food rather than meat dishes. It would also be a cool way to balance some of the crops to actually be a decent alternative to dragon fruit. Some of them could be given longer spillage times or bigger health boosts when used as a jerky. They don't rot so long as you leave them on the farms. With monkeys making manure so readily available you can have quite a few basic farms for food stockpiling already. It'll probably be unnecessary. Else the fridge is an option as well.
