Augustusc
I was following the this guide to create a hat, i followed the steps to the best of my abilities, but when i tried loading the game to test it, it crashed. but it wasn't the normal crash where it tell me what happened, it stopped working completely. i looked at the log file and i saw the weirdest thing. Quote [00:00:36]: LOAD BE [00:00:40]: ..\source\animlib\animmanager.cpp(504) :: Tried to add build [hat_beefalo] from file [anim/hat_beefalo.zip] but we've already added a build with that name! I think i understand the problem, but i don't know how to fix it. i attached the log file and the zip file with the anim that i made. log.txt hat_herder.zip EDIT: here is the guide i used Edited February 10, 2016 by Augustusc
Muche
Does renaming scml file, then letting autocompiler create new anim zip file help?
Augustusc
i didn't have a scml file. i had implanted a tex file straight into the zip, i also did some bild renaming thing on the build file. also. it seems i forgot to put what guide i used in the main post, updating now
Muche
build.bin's build name is still hat_beefalo, so I guess files got mixed up during build renaming.
Augustusc
okay. i fix that, now it gives me a different error. i will post the log, and the lua file since it looks like they are related log.txt hat_herder.lua
Muche
Try local anim = inst.entity:AddAnimState().
Augustusc
Where do i add that?
Muche
You replace the current line inst.entity:AddAnimState() with it.
