[Bug Report] Died too quickly?

I was playing Shipwrecked as Warly and had gotten to day 98. I was trying to harvest bees with a net and got killed after tanking 3 hits max from killer bees. I was full hp. As far as I know, Warly has 150 hp and the bees do 10 damage. Even if they hit me 10 times, I should not be dead. Incredibly frustrating to lose so much progress. Not sure if it's a bug or I am going crazy but I won't be playing for a bit.

 

Water Beefalo were also nowhere to be found on the map. There were only 2 Mangrove biomes and none contained water beefalo.
