Niobite Posted January 22, 2016 Share Posted January 22, 2016 I had the same problem, after Ubuntu crashed during the game. After reinstalling Steam and the don't starve game files (that didn't solve the problem) i had a closer look at the warning message. I deleted the file "player_history" at the following location: ~/.klei/DoNotStarveTogether/save/ After that the game was able to initialize and start again.
