Issue Title: Error warning during initialization - Ubuntu 14.04

Issue Description: I tried reinstalling, verify the integrity of cache, delete appcache, and every time I launch the game from Steam, I get this Warning.

Steps to Reproduce: Launch the game from Steam on Linux OS.

I had the same problem, after Ubuntu crashed during the game. 

After reinstalling Steam and the don't starve game files (that didn't solve the problem) i had a closer look at the warning message. 
I deleted the file "player_history" at the following location: ~/.klei/DoNotStarveTogether/save/
After that the game was able to initialize and start again.
