Crab AI Suggestion

I've been playing quite a lot of Shipwrecked for the past few days and noticed that it is relatively easy to kill crabs. If you chase a crab, backtrack a few steps and the crab stops, you can quickly go up to it and kill it without having to use a ranged weapon or a trap. If Klei wants the crab AI in Shipwrecked to act anything like the rabbit AI in Reign of Giants, their "kiting" will need to be changed so that the player cannot catch up to them and kill them. The crab AI is excellent if you want to get yourself some easy food, but I'm not sure Klei intended for players to be able to melee kill crabs without a trap. A "simple" solution would be to enable the crabs to burrow or hide as soon as the player got too close to them. I realize this "bug" isn't game-breaking, but it definitely eliminates the need to craft traps to kill crabs. If you like my suggestion and or have any questions, just let me know!
