RootsMachine
I have a dedicated server up and running on Centos 7 x64 with no mods. Its fine for the first session 3 players. However when I go to connect to it then next day it's disappeared from the server list and LAN server list. If I kill the server and restart it I still cant connect to it. The only way to get it working again seems to be to delete the do not starve directory and re download it using steamcmd. How do I go about debugging this? I have linked GNU TLS .so file could this be causing the problems?
Michelangelo
Hey! It's most likely running an old build. Try updating the DST dedicated server App and relaunching it. You can see if it is effectively running by going here: http://dstservers.jacklul.com/ and change "Outdated servers" to "Show" on the filters. Michelangelo
Bit more info: the command in steamcmd to update the DST dedicated server app is app_update 343050 e.g. this is what would look on your startup script:./steamcmd.sh +login anonymous +force_install_dir /home/dst/server +app_update 343050 +quitUsually you'd need to restart your server once a day and update it, but there are heavy duty days (like today) that the devs push a new build almost every hour.
