Dedicated Server issue with mods

Hi guys,

 

Just a quick one regarding mods on the dedicated server - prior to Christmas, I had my mods installed and working exactly as I wanted, but on loading the server back up now, when I try to access the server the mods aren't activated. I've deleted my save files and restarted the server from scratch, but still no mods show up when I try to access the game - I should be at least seeing the various different player mods I installed and that were available when I first set this up.

 

Any ideas? The server blurb tells me that mods were installed, although there is one line that says FMOD Error: An invalid object handle was used.

I have a similar problem. Had a dedicated server up and running yesterday. Now it doesn't show in the server list. Furthermore, I get the same FMOD error.

 

Just to say, I managed to find the fix to this - the way the mods are loaded into the dedicated server has changed, or at least that appears to have been the case. Prior to Christmas, I didn't need a modsettings.lua file to enable the mods, they were there just from the dedicated server mods lua file.

Following the steps should enable mods now.

I've always used the modsettings.lua for my mods to be activated on a dedicated server.  What I found happens from time to time after I do an update is the modsettings.lua nd dedicated_server_mods.lua file have been over written with blank default ones.  You may want to check those out.
