Chizzleface
Hi guys, Just a quick one regarding mods on the dedicated server - prior to Christmas, I had my mods installed and working exactly as I wanted, but on loading the server back up now, when I try to access the server the mods aren't activated. I've deleted my save files and restarted the server from scratch, but still no mods show up when I try to access the game - I should be at least seeing the various different player mods I installed and that were available when I first set this up. Any ideas? The server blurb tells me that mods were installed, although there is one line that says FMOD Error: An invalid object handle was used. Cheers! nicolaskf
I have a similar problem. Had a dedicated server up and running yesterday. Now it doesn't show in the server list. Furthermore, I get the same FMOD error. Chizzleface
I have a similar problem. Had a dedicated server up and running yesterday. Now it doesn't show in the server list. Furthermore, I get the same FMOD error. Just to say, I managed to find the fix to this - the way the mods are loaded into the dedicated server has changed, or at least that appears to have been the case. Prior to Christmas, I didn't need a modsettings.lua file to enable the mods, they were there just from the dedicated server mods lua file. http://dont-starve-game.wikia.com/wiki/Guides/Don%E2%80%99t_Starve_Together_Dedicated_Servers Following the steps should enable mods now. Littlecooldude
I've always used the modsettings.lua for my mods to be activated on a dedicated server. What I found happens from time to time after I do an update is the modsettings.lua nd dedicated_server_mods.lua file have been over written with blank default ones. You may want to check those out.
