[Suggestion] Poison Time Limit (24 hours?)

I was poisoned by a jumping/poison spider, accompanied by 4 other spiders in a recent game. I ran away, then approached the nest again to try to respawn and kill a poison spider to obtain the gland I needed to cure my poison. Unable to respawn a poison spider or find any poison snakes, I ultimately died as I fought against time to cure my ailment, failing almost 2 days later.

 

This creates a pretty frustrating environment, especially if coral or venom glands are hard to obtain on a map. A 24 hour time limit on the poison still does a LOT of damage, is likely to kill a player that isn't prepared for it, and seems realistic.
