Windconsistencies

Every night, the ambient wind direction changes such that all of the ocean waves travel in a new heading for the next day. I like this. Periodically, a storm will kick up and with it comes some strong gusts of wind. I like this too. But the waves and gusts aren't coordinated, and often blow contradictory to one another. Oh yeah, and the direction the sail inflates is backwards. This is troublesome.

 

I'm not sure what the _best_ fix would be, as I do like the daily waves being all in the same direction and I do like the stormy winds changing direction. But I'd rather see one of those two things no longer be the case in order to make the two go in the same direction. Oh yeah, and the direction the sail inflates is backwards. This is troublesome.
