SwarleyUnderhill Posted December 4, 2015 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Hey there I'm trying to buy some Don't Starve blind boxes from the store but the paypal window that pops up won't let me log in. I can still log into my paypal if I go straight to the site or thru steam just not here.I have an inkling it has something to do with that it never asks for my 2 factor authentication code but I'm not sure. I've tried 2 different computers and 2 different browsers. I also can't buy as a guest because Paypal recognizes my credit card as being tied to an account and asks me to log in. lol Is anyone else experiencing this? JanH Posted December 4, 2015 Share Posted December 4, 2015 Sorry to hear you're having trouble purchasing from the Klei Store. Alas, this is due to a limitation with our storefront's current PayPal payment system for people who are using the two-factor security authorization with their PayPal account. In the meantime, here are a couple of workarounds: 1) If you have a supported credit card (AMEX, VISA, Master Card), once you have provided your shipping information, click on the “Complete Order” button. This will bring up the PayPal payment system, where at the bottom, you will see a “Buy as a Guest” button. Click on that to purchase the item using your credit card. The next page will ask for you to fill in your credit card information and to confirm the purchase. 2) If that does not work, you can temporarily disable the two-factor authentication through PayPal's official website, make the purchase from the Klei Store, and re-enable it once more once finished with the transaction. Sorry for the inconvenience, this will be something that we take into account as we develop our own store system. The new system should let us have more control over things this in the future.
