Some issues

I got the game today and i started playing like a maniac.I had no crashes , game run fine...well except some random loading times a few times , but it`s an alpha , so i`m not concerned.

The main problems i had was the fact i could not craft some stuff. For example a storm hit my base , lightning struck like 10 billion times and burned all my stuff to the ground.Not a problem , had a lot of resources , and started building the stuff back. Everything was fine until i build the science machine..i could not place it anywhere on the whole island...And that kinda killed that "save" , had to start all over.

Things i don`t like :

-the damn poison timer being infinite...spend  half a day starting new worlds could i died every 20+ day 

- the fact that u can`t get dry fast and u`re 99,9% wet

- the lack of some form of a shelter...since the storms a re powerfull u should be able to craft some sort of hut..i mean u can make stone wallz , why not put some palm leafs on top as a roof

I had the exact same problem with placing the crock pot. I had my base built already and I couldn't place the crock pot anywhere nearby, although there was nothing on the ground. I eventually had to place it off screen in the jungle

 

You can actually build a palm leaf hut near your fire pit. That helps you stay out of the torrential rain during the night and dry off. I do suggest getting some gear to keep you dry though because it will get even worse once the flooding starts.

Thx for the info about the hut m8, i didn`t know that. But on a side note , i feel like i need to repeat myself :  if i can build STONE wallz and WOODEN floors , why can`t i build a stone / wood / bamboo / grass house ?! It would make a lot of sence .

Didn`t have time today to play [ stupid job and stuff ] but i`ll dive in tnight and play until morning ! ^^
