I'm having to disable my controller and use mouse & keyboard for crock-potting, in which case the cook button is still there underneath the 4 slots, and then re-enable my controller again before I go off exploring. In addition, the Spy Glass doesn't seem to work with a controller either. Either at sea nor on land (not that I'm sure it's even meant to work on land). The map will be revealed in the direction you were facing when you pressed B. LaDestitute Posted December 14, 2015 Share Posted December 14, 2015 I've had the same problem as AnteSocial with the Spyglass, except I was using a keyboard and mouse. On a previous run, I had a Spyglass with 40% durability left, and I couldn't use it at all suddenly. I'd go out to sea, equip it, and would see no prompt for the Peer function.
