[General] - Minimap resets every time

Issue Title: Minimap resets every time

Issue Description: I host a dedicated server for me and my wife to play on and every single time I reconnect to the server my minimap resets. My wife's minimap never resets. It's super frustrating to start at no map every time!

I added the log files and a screenshot of the server console when I join.

I even completely reformatted my computer and reinstalled everything and this issue still happens.

I would be really really thankful if anyone can help. I lose the desire to play when exploring data is reset.

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the game

2. Find the right server

3. Load into the world

4. explore!

5. Disconnect

6. Quit the game

7. Start the game again

8. Load back into the server

9. Minimap completely blank again.

this happens every single time and I can easily reproduce.

I'm having this same problem.  Same steps.  I'm hosting a dedicated for a few friends and they keep their maps are retained when they log in, and mine disappears.

Actually I found out what the problem was. It was because I was using the same configuration directory for my dedicated server and my game client. As soon as I separated the two with the -conf_dir flag on the server shortcut the problem was solved.
