Issue Title: [cavesbeta] Unable to create Klei account - Stuck at "Logging in..."

Issue Description: It looks like Klei account creation is broken in the DST caves beta. After clicking "Play!", the game hangs indefinitely at the "Logging in..." modal. This happens with or without the Steam overlay enabled.

I was able to reproduce this on 3 different accounts. I only tried on OSX, and do not know if it affects Windows and Linux.

Steps to Reproduce: To reproduce:

* Create a new Steam account.

* Purchase or borrow a copy of DST.

* Opt into the caves beta. (do not launch the game before this)

* Launch the game.

* Click the play button.

Workaround:

* Disable the caves beta.

* Launch the game, and click play.

* Complete the Klei account creation process.

* Quit the game, and enable the caves beta.

I'm experiencing the same problem on MacOS X 10.11 (15A284).

(Bummer that I can't play the gift my wife gave me... )
