MoxtheSox
I need help. No matter what I do I cannot get any of my servers to load unless they are completely vanilla. I have uninstalled and reinstalled DST multiple times. I have deleted the folders on my computer too. I have verified the game cache. I've tried anything within my power to fix this. Cleaned the mods, reinstalled mods. Cleared everything and just.. nothing works. I can't even add one recently updated mod to my server. It never gets past the day/night world with the floating hands loading screen. I've waited up to 30 minutes and it still won't load. I have windows 10. The update ruined some of the stuff I have but NOW I am using a local account with my computer in itself. SO i can access all my files which is good. But I still cannot enjoy DST anymore for it won't let me make my own servers. Could anyone be of assistance?? I will appreciate any help I can get. c: Please and thank you AND thank you for reading even if you can't help xD - Max Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/58514-my-servers-wont-load-when-i-have-mods-enabled/ Share on other sites
Mr.Mulk
Hello,It is possible your mods are not compiling properly into the game, but I feel that this is not the case. The truth is, it sounds like your copy of the game may be bugged (but then again you did verify the cache). Your best option is to e-mail an employee at Klei (albeit tedious) but they will most likely be of great assistance. Otherwise, here are my recommendations:Make sure to check the game cache after adding modsGo through each mod and test each one to see if any are buggedUse the Don't Starve Mod Tools to auto-compile the mods, as it sounds like one or two may not be atlasing the necessary information.Hope this helps Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/58514-my-servers-wont-load-when-i-have-mods-enabled/#findComment-681525 Share on other sites
