[Request + Colab] I would like a locked chest mod for hosts/admins to store their valuables

Hi,

 

As a server host, i would love it if i had a way to store valuable/rare items in a locked chest that only i (the host) can access. This to prevent trolling from players taking the items and logging of or hiding them somewhere. Rare items such as drops from killed giants, walking cane, Walrus hat, etc. would find a safe place in the locked chest. But also common items that are becoming increasingly rare late game such as gold and flint.

 

The chest will of course have to be fire and hammer proof. This puts things in a bit of a weird spot as now the admin can abuse the system by making all chests locked to prevent natural combustion during summer. I would therefor suggest only 1 chest can be locked at all times.

 

There are a couple of mods on in the workshop but none of them seem to be working as imagine it. One of them has an item of some sort the host needs to keep with him, but it deteriorates over time and when it's gone the chest is open again. It is also a very unstable mod which crashes a lot. Another mod prevents players from opening any chest but it also prevents them from holding a torch so that's no good either.

If anyone who is good at the coding side of things (and if this mod is actually possible) is willing to take on this task that would be great as i can not code myself out of a wet paper bag. Although i am not very familiar with the drawing style, i can provide help for the visual side of things.
