Any other surprises i should know of?

Recommended Posts

I played dst for the first time last night. First off, ps4 control is superior lol.

But seriously, my brother and I were seeing up a rudimentary home base and put down 6 rabbit traps for food. Next day, lo and behold, no rabbits appear. Next day, I think one trap caught food. Third day they finally work.

Is there a timer on rabbit spawning in dst?

Any other changes that a dst beginner should know when expecting a carbon copy of ds single player?

Your best bet is to just not rely on rabbits as much, if at all:) There's many different food sources, and if you get a crock pot you can make them into recipes. One of the easiest is meatballs: one monster meat, and 3 of anything BESIDES more monster meat and twigs.

I try not to rely on any one source. This was just line day 5. We needed the meat for crock pot recipes

On ps4 rabbits are an amazing staple.

Except for obviously spring, we can put them right over the trap, and they spawn daily. Guaranteed food every day.

PS4 control cannot possibly be superior because Pc accepts any input type.

Specific to DS, since you don't need more than 8 directional movement, there's not a strong need for a controller. There's some aiming, which suggests a slight advantage to the mouse.

I believe that rabbits were nerfed at a food source, not sure to what extent.

I'm not 100% but the OP may have been joking.
