Others cant connect to my dedicated server

i have this problem where my server cant show up on online section,just lan section.

i can connect to my own server but not throught the command line ( ~ ),and my server shows up on dstservers.jacklul.com

I'm having exactly the same issue as the thread starter

 

I can join while within my own network using LAN inside DST or just choosing Server within Steam.  If I ask my friend to join or I leave my network to test it, I can't join at all, even using c_connect

 

Experimented with opening up both 10999 and 10998 in the settings.ini and port forwarding with no noticeable change.

Were you able to port-forwarded through both your router and firewall?

Find your ip from the dstservers by clicking on your server's name. Click on 'join the server' and another window pops out telling you the ip to connect. Try connecting in console command. If it said it can't find it, then you still need to port-forwarded it via firewall. Be sure if any firewall or anti-virus isn't blocking you either.

 

Open in advance in firewall and outbound the tpc 10990-10999. It helped me a lot, and no longer cause problems.

 

I know Norton blocks games in general and must be disabled.

 

Is this a in-game server?

It doesn't require to port-forward. Sometimes, the server with klei can act up. Be sure to visit your settings.ini and view whether or not has your information has changed. Perhaps it created a default listings and not what you wanted.

 

Also, based on your log, it also shows a lot of stuff, like for mods are cancelling downloads. When mods don't load 100%, then your server cannot be seen in servers listing. Try removing them all, and configure few at a time to see which mods are the problems.
