Weird bigportrait error

So I've put together a new mod, but when I start a new game, I get an error saying that it can't find the bigportrait xml file with the file name all in caps (WOLFE.xml). So I tried changing it and got the same and did the same with the tex file. However, after that it said it couldn't find the xml with a lowercase name (wolfe.xml). I tried recompiling a couple of times, the modmain has the file names in lowercase, and I otherwise can't have two files with the same name with one in lowercase and one in uppercase in the same folder, so it's just an endless loop of nonsense errors. No idea of any other images will do the same thing. Any idea on what the hell's happening here??
