Shkat Posted August 6, 2015 Share Posted August 6, 2015 Bug Submission: Category: Client Crash Issue Title: LUA error while joining ANY game Issue Description: Whenever i try to join a game, it doesnt matter if its a friend's server or a random server, i get the same error. https://gyazo.com/20f14f223ea0e37f157774e0f48e5f95 <-- the error I've tried re-downloading the game a couple of times and it doesnt seem to fix it. Any idea? Steps to Reproduce: I just cant join any server, it always crashes as soon as the loading screen appears. I recently switched to Windows 10 -- not sure if that has something to do with it. Kondiaronk Posted August 12, 2015 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Interestingly, I can HOST games, but my guests aren't exactly on the same map as me... they may see trees in the water, have invisible boundaries, etc, meanwhile on my screen where they have water I have land... I read that it could be a filepath issue, so I uninstalled, deleted my Klei folder in my documents, and reinstalled. After trying to join and hosting, I still don't have a Klei folder back in My Documents. Again, recently switched to Win 10, not sure if that could be the cause. Seems like Klei might just need some time to optimize for Win10 (or more likely, microsoft needs time to work out Win10 problems....)
