Issue Title: Progressively Increasing Lag & Rubberbanding.

Issue Description: After hosting a fresh world with myself and 3 friends all goes well, I start off running a solid 60FPS. As days go by my framerate starts to lower and my friends begin to suffer from severe rubberbanding.

Restarting my game provides some relief, for a very short time. I also notice that during night time my framerate increases.

After making it to day 130 my friends have almost reached the stage of quitting due to the rubberbanding constantly getting them killed. My game now runs between 20-30fps and my friends are suffering from rubberbanding much worse than my lag.

However if we disconnect and create a brand new world, the lag stops. (and slowly begins to increase)

Could this be cause by a large amount of animals all over the map, or because we've explored more map and it remains rendered, or maybe just because of the amount of items on the ground everywhere? Some support would be great and a solution so we don't have to start again would also be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Steps to Reproduce: Lag gets progressively worse as the game progresses.

yeap this happens to me in my every world. Is it supposed to happen. I have no idea. Because you are improving your base and all the things at ur base has an animation etc. Wild fires, crowded spider colonies etc..

I can successfully host to 3 other players without any problem but especially after first year i can hardly host to only one more person and even with 1 person, they complain about rubberbanding.

Having the same issue.

Tried different configurations, small worlds, no mods, all to no avail.

These lags appear to be related to players joining or entering areas with a lot of mods or scenarios (setpieces).

I would love a fix, it's highly stressful.

Excuse my noobism, can't figure out how to edit my post.

I also tried playing the game windowed, in lower resolutions etc. None of that helped. I did notice that the game never exceeds 25% CPU usage. I also have plenty of free ram memory and overall my computer's specs are perfectly fine for a game like this.
