Screen flickering

Start up game.

I don't know what my version number is so I'm sorry if that upset you. Whenever I start up the game and try to left-click anything in the starting screen or in-game, the screen quickly flashes and repeats this process several times. It happens every few seconds after and does not stop. This flashing causes stops in my recordings and makes the game nearly impossible to play. It's not an issue with windows 8(played this originally on my windows 8 laptop) so I think it's an issue with my desktop pc. If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you.
