I have a pretty bad internet connection, and I like to play DST with my sister across the room, we are on the same network. Everytime one of us creates an online server the other one can't play due to lag/delay. So we found out we can create LAN server, but it simply doesn't work. Everytime we make a LAN server we still get 2k-4k ms and still can't play. So is it really a LAN? Because we can play many other games on LAN conection with 0 to 8ms.
