Wajeemba
I'm apologize if this is already on the radar, but here goes in case it isn't:When using a controller, it is not possible to plant things (grass tufts, pinecone, spider eggs) directly from a backpack. This was very perplexing for a while, but I did isolate the behavior after about an hour of playtime.I had a friend playing on a mouse and keyboard verify that this was a controller only incident, and am if this has anything to do with the extra unseen "hands" slot that the mouse gives. For bug duplication purposes, I was using an xbox 360 wired controller on SteamOS beta, everything up to date as of yesterday. Thanks so much for the awesome game Klei! Finisher
I was going to start a new thread about this, but was able to do a quick search to contribute to this. I noticed this issue with the controller planting stuff from the backpack. The character would go to plant the item but would get stuck at the plant animation and the item would not plant. It's like the item is super glued to the character and can't be released for planting. I can drop the items, but planting is impossible from the backpack. I found a temporary solution by moving the items to my regular inventory slots out of the backpack, in order to plant. Klei, please fix this controller bug so we can plant stuff in backpack using controller. Thank you.
