Issue Title: Seeing insanity effects while still high sanity

Issue Description:

I do not remember exactly if there were other players on my server, but I had just joined the game, and on day 2 or 3, I was seeing that Crawling Horror as a white sprite, for a few seconds, and a few swirly effects on the edge of the screen.

I could have been alone, or there might have been another player. Regardless, the game was between day 1 and 3.

Steps to Reproduce: Watch for insanity effects while still high sanity. Could be solo or with other players during early stages of game.
