Help needed with modding characters

Hello, I'd like to create a duo called 'The Pandora Hunters' for my own private server of me and a friend however, I am nearly done with the art of one and going to start on the second but I have no idea how to add custom stuff to the characters and I was wondering if one of you could help me with it.

 

Let me explain to you what my whole idea is, my idea is a Templar and a Sorceress. That they are both insane or evil etc.

 

But I'd like to implement a few things I have no idea on how to do that with such as:

- Sanity gain during night and a sanity drain when they aren't close to each other or if it's dusk.

- Stronger and sturdier when together (increasing their damage done and get more health or something) (Would like to call this Bonded Mind.)

- Custom items that match their corresponding themes for example a special staff for the Sorceress and cloths and a sword and bulkier armor for the Templar. (female is the Sorceress, the male is the Templar)

- How to make it so that they can craft that corresponding item and only them can (so the Sorceress can only craft the cloth and staff of those custom items, the Templar can only craft the sword and the bulkier armor.)

- How to add perks to these characters which do certain stuff or somethings that wouldn't be the same as others.

 

I don't really have a finished stuff yet on what I want them to add as it's just two characters for personal playthroughs and stuff which I would only be using but I would like some theme to it aswell.
