cogwheel
I play Don't Starve through steam on both my MacBook and my Windows desktop. I use the Dvorak keyboard layout on both systems. Every time I switch between them, I have to redo the key bindings because they get completely messed up. For example, on the dvorak layout, "WASD" becomes ",AOE". When I set key bindings in Windows it uses the Dvorak key stroke. But when i set keybindings on mac, it uses WASD even though i'm in Dvorak. I'm not even sure dvorak is the issue though. When I switch machines, most of the keybindings are changed to "UNKNOWN", leading me to believe there is something fundamentally different (and messed up) about the way key bindings are handled between the two platforms. TL;DR: key bindings on mac should use the keyboard layout, not always QWERTY. Switching between platforms should work correctly.
