Help with character component stuff.

I want my character to be easily frozen. like say if they were hit by something that could freeze them solid like ice hounds or the deerclops, how could i lower the amount of hits it requires to freeze him? also, how could i make a character immune to winter and to summer? ive looked into the games files, but i cant seem to find what im looking for.
