Issue Title: Could Not Swap Items

Issue Description: I was unable to swap some logs I had in my hand into my backpack or any other slots. I believe my inventory was full at the time.

The backpack was found shortly after joining an official server, and items inside of it were not updating properly. That may or may not be related.

I was eventually able to drop the logs by right clicking on the ground.

Potentially Related Issue: Items In Backpack Do Not Refresh

Potentially Related Issue: Could not open crafting menu.

Steps to Reproduce: While being chased down by a tall bird who was chasing indefinitely as night was coming, I picked up some logs, and could not swap them into any inventory slots or drop them to make a torch.

Pick up another players old backpack full of junk.

Fill your inventory.

Pick up logs.

While holding varying combinations of WASD to avoid avoid the feathered death:

Click furiously trying to swap or drop the sticky logs so you can make a torch before the darkness consumes you.

Right click near your character to successfully drop the logs.

Click furiously on the crafting menu only to have it be non responsive.

Hear the whispers, and growls of the night, separated from the saving light of the fireflies by a thin stream of ocean. Let the darkness consume you, or be pecked to death.
