Issue Title: Long chat text gets dropped

Issue Description: The end of long chat text is hidden/not shown in world. Also, it's not clear to me if the amount of text shown in world chat is equivalent to that shown in local chat (or if more text is shown in one vs the other).

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Join a Y server.

2. Press Y for world chat

3. Start typing.

Expected result: Chat wraps to a new line.

Actual result: Chat gets dropped after one line. Additional type typed is not displayed.
