I have a suggestion to improve servers by hosting in a similar way like L4D2 game by selecting option find existing server to start play. In this way the game will not shut down if host leaves and the players will be able to have less ping than ~120. Although to avoid overpowered players with long day games, after leaving and joining you can choose only 4 left items or stacks and start from day 1.
