Auto Re-Trap

Seriously, what's the point in having to practice marksmanship just to put a trap back to where it was? Picking up traps every time you check it does not add difficulty to the game, it just makes it annoying and frustrating.

I'm pretty sure there is already a mod that makes spacebar reset traps and never pick them up. There is definitely a self resetting trap mod

Did you read my post? I have actually linked the exact mod you mentioned. My suggestion is to implement it as an in-game feature.

Mods are in-game features. If a mod exists for a feature there is absolutely no reason for klei to waste time doing the same thing when they can work on other things. (unless they do it better)

"devs r 2 lazy 2 put in game" is not a valid argument.

My point is that picking up a trap whenever you check it is very unnecessary. Just because a mod solves it already, it doesn't mean that Klei should not look into it.

Correct 'devs too lazy' is not a valid argument. But "The feature is fine as it is" and "for people who disagree, there is a mod" _IS_ a valid argument. Its pointless for them to take time away from other things in order to make a configurable option when its ALREADY configurable by installing or not installing the mod.

Yes, it will take Klei's valuable time to implement, but is it worth it?

IMO, it is. It saves players from the unnecessary need to re-place their traps at the exact same location, which, in return, saves the players' time and allows them to spend more time enjoying the other features of the game.

I don't see anything that could possibly worsen the game experience because of this.
