If a mod exists for a feature there is absolutely no reason for klei to waste time doing the same thing when they can work on other things. But "The feature is fine as it is" and "for people who disagree, there is a mod" _IS_ a valid argument. It saves players from the unnecessary need to re-place their traps at the exact same location, which, in return, saves the players' time and allows them to spend more time enjoying the other features of the game.I don't see anything that could possibly worsen the game experience because of this.
