I have gone through a bunch of worlds i normally change worlds every time i die, and i have come to a conclusion that if you don't have every type of biome you cant get all the different stuff. i don't know if that is part of the plan but its really annoying not to have pigs because i cant make a football helmet there is 100 points of armor.

if u can make it so that you can make all the stuff with resources that every random world would have that would be so cool im even willing to have to spend like 30 boards if that is what it takes

Even I'm not sure what the plan will be, but I if I were guess, I would say every biome should be represented and in the event that doesn't occur it's probably an issue with the current map generation code. This code will eventually be updated, so when that happens you can re-verify whether this issue still occurs.

You can always build pig houses. Although I'm not sure how building one automatically adds a pig man to it... but hey, it solves your problem so why question it?

But for building a pig house you'd need Pig Skin first, wouldn't you? Is there a way I don't know about, to get pig skin without killing pigs? I'd really like that, since I couldn't find a pig village in my world either.

Ah yes, the crafting formula changed for pig houses (they didn't use to need pig skins). The Devs didn't want players just crafting pig houses without first meeting them on the map. My apologies.
