Switching worlds and trying to change the world settings- console edition.

when activating the wooden thing to enter a new world in the regular mode you have the option to continue or go to the main menu.

 

if you select Main Menu are you able to continue to a new world and modify its settings or customize the world?

 

for instance, I generated a world that currently is set to long summer and less hounds and a few other options.

 

I know you are able to bring with you the resources you have obtained but lets say I wanted to modify the actual world to have a long summer and or long winter.

 

could I do this by using the wooden thing and going to Main Menu or will I eventually be forced to create a new game to change world settings?
