Joeyloveswaffles Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 Me and my friend have been trying to create our own mods but we can't even get the basics down.We were watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTxLWfph_sc and once we edited the files to change the recipes it loaded, but nothing changed. If somebody can give us a more detailed explanation to why we are encountering issues that would be extremely helpful. Thank you, Joey. Rosten Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 I read the apparent "TLDR" and from what I understand, it suggests editing base files, which is a big no-no for modding in general. So this is very much the wrong thing to be watching.
