No grass!How did you get through all these? Ridley Posted April 18, 2014 Share Posted April 18, 2014 I found out that the world generation has a random curse of some sort added onto it. For example: *Sometimes most of the grass is withered. *Sometimes spiders have a very long aggro range. *Sometimes a good portion of the trees are chopped down. So the fact you had a bad first world doesn't mean you will ever have the same problem again. Normally King Of Winter was generous with its resources, so this makes me think you got a hard generation like I did with cold reception. Also, there is 6 worlds and only 5 levels. The next time you play the order will be different, and you may not get king of winter. Also, Two Worlds is always chapter 3 or 4. Bring a Ice hat into chapter 3, and if its not the right chapter, make a new one and take it with you into chapter 4. Also Also, the last world is very mean. You have to have a miners light or moggles, with the butterfly net prototyped or a sewing kit respectively. You will build lots of endo-pits while you are in chapter 5, and the mac tusk/ ice hat will not be helpful. I think Moggles + Sewing Kit + Gold Pickaxe ( you get free grass and wood at the start, but there is a shortage of sticks and you need the nitre/gold ) + Flora Shirt/40 grass is a legitimate way to play that chapter. The biggest thing that sets me off is that you have to start from the beginning every time. Maybe I'm just a wimp... Maybe I'm just a wimp...Come on, don't be timid, but the adventure mode in this version does have some problems, chapter"2 diff worlds" and "the darkness" are all set to be in constant summer.So you can't get through adventure mode anyway with DLC now. To me, um, i used the console and cheating codes to help me get to the throne. Set sandbox world to eternal winter to find the strategy for survival.There is always some food and resources, mobility is the key.Uncover as much terrain as possible as fast as possible,Move in circles at the very first few minutes to figure out nearby biomes.
