Did not receive extra key for friend

Hello i didnt know where to ask this. I created a new google account to purchase the game using google wallet. I assume the key goes to the gmail associated with the google account. Unfortunately i did not have a gmail for the account as it was just created to buy the game so i did not get an email with the extra key. Thankfully i did get a receipt in my google wallet transaction with the order number. My question is can you send the email to the same account now that i have created a gmail for it.Regards
