You should add body temperature like a heat meter bar. if it runs out u move slower (fall asleep and die) or something like that. Also if u wear clothes u lose heat slower. gain heat by fire etc

i believe its a 50/50 right now. the next addition to player stats is a sanity bar if memory serves. but a temperature bar might be in the near future.

Warmth, or body temperature, was discussed in several threads a while back, but more recently was revisted when the Devs hinted that "Winter was coming". Here is one such thread:

As to whether warmth will appear in the game is hard to say because I personally haven't seen any official word on the matter. What most people are expecting from winter is much harder survival conditions due to a serious lack of food sources.

Personally I would like to see an effect from extreme cold, that can only be mitigated by either the warmth of a roaring fire or special clothing, like a beefalo coat.
