Petal, now feeling more powerful, presses it's palms closer near the center. The light begins to glow more brightly, but the scratches in the symbol begin to bleed a red fluid.

(I forgot to mention that most Thaumaturgic symbols are Satanic, if not all of them.)

Petal, noticing the scythe, tries to duck and keep its palms on the symbol.

Unfortunately, the scythe hits the top part of it's head, and a ripped piece of cloth moves across the arena, attached to the scythe.

Petal falls over, but still keeps its hands on the symbol. The lance now twists in unusual ways, looking demonic.

Petal, now slowly regenerating, focuses. The symbol begins to soak up all the fluid again.

What used to be a lance is now a mass of metal. Despite being metal, it looks like it is a liquid inside of the symbol, levitating in perfect orbs.

Petal lets go of the symbol, and the metal spheres reform, the symbol fading.

What used to be balls is now a flail. It has a glossy look, like sterling silver.

Petal grabs the ornate handle. Despite being bigger than Petal, it picks it up with ease, defying logic.

(Daver has requested that I control Daniel for a bit.)

Daniel glares at Zorua, and an unseen force pushes her away before she can make contact with him. He proceeds to send a group of shadowy knifes straight at Petal.

Daniel glances at the situation, and grins. He moves the sword in such a way that the flail hits it, and it disrupts Zorua's attack as well as knocks the blade to the ground. A pair of scythes appear in Daniel's hands. One, he throws at Petal, the other he swings at Zorua.
