The arena seems fairly out of order, but there are no visible holes in the walls. Piles of rubble lay on the ground, as well as the occasional pebble. Oxryklne teleports to safety, but he hears J's voice.

I wouldn't do that, if I were you...

Oxryklne feels the same sensation that he felt earlier, when J dimmed the flame. Barry stands, and strums a chord. It sends a jolt of pain to Daniel.

The hallucination creatures begin to inch closer and closer to Avam, he stops feeling fear, or anything, in his entire body. He looks down at his arms and sees he is plated in some sort of shadow armor, every inch of him, with claws attached to the gloves as weapons.

This armor wasn't real this time and didn't exist outside of his low sanity world.

(Reference to a certain mask collector?)

Petal, now hiding behind a pile of rubbish, grabs one of the larger pebbles and tries to sharpen it into a sharp rock by rubbing the sides against the floor of the Arena.

Petal, with a rock now sharp enough to scratch the floor, begins scratching the floor. The lines begin to merge, and a symbol begins to appear.

It resembles a triangle, enclosed by a circle that touches the corners of the triangle.

Petal looks around warily, and presses its palms onto the center of the triangle.

The symbol begins to issue light, and the rubble pile near him begins to change, slowly at first, but faster as Petal keeps its hands on the symbol.

(One thing I forgot to mention.

Petal has knowledge in Thaumaturgy. Now if only the rule of equal trade didn't apply..

And before you guys say that Fabrico in Shadowfall didn't need a Thaumaturgic triangle, you guys neglected to examine the gem on his cane more carefully.)

The knife aimed at Oxryklne bounces harmlessly to the side.

<I was hoping you'd put up an actual fighter, J.>

Shadow tendrils burst out of the beetle, wrapping around Daniel's arm and cementing him to the ground.

"Telum. Saxum. Pannus."

Petal, still hiding behind his rubbish pile, finally releases the symbol, and the rubbish pile, along with the symbol itself, disappears.

In its place is a low quality lance. It looks strong enough to take a beating, but it looks dull.

(Damn you, equal trade!)

(Heh... Whoops.)

Luckily, the knife didn't hit Barry. He was in place, unable to move , trapped in his own song. Another rush of energy passes through the group, and the pain flees from Zorua's wound.
