When I try to turn on the mods, it says "Crashed on last start, automaticly disabled".I tried to install other mods but they are not working too. I've got this:http://forums.kleientertainment.com/files/file/386-compromising-survival/ And found this:Steam/Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\dont_starve\mods\Standalone/Windows: C:\Program Files\dontstarve\modsStandalone/Mac: /Applications/Don't Starve/Don't Starve.app/Contents/mods/Steam/Linux: /home/username/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/dont_starve/modsNothing about GoG builds there, so I located:/home/username/.kleibut it doesn't have the games files and putting the mod anywhere in there doesn't work. Klumpen Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 Ok, I'd have never thought that it's installed outside of/home/username/but it actually is in GoG/Linux 64bit: /root/opt/GOG Games/Dont Starve/game/dontstarve64/mods/Maybe it can be implemented in this guide alongside the other GoG versions:http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/29658-how-to-install-a-mod-from-the-klei-downloads-page/That's really odd. Having blank spaces instead of _ is quite unclean too, I wonder why they chose such a path. Anyway, it works now, the mod "Compromising Survival" should be delivered with the game and unlocked with a cheat code or something like that, a lot of people seem to only play it with this. I died a few dozen times and survived some weeks in permadeath before being fed up to die instantly every time I discover something new (which happens quite a lot with all the content in the game), so this mod actually makes me play it again.. Meditativethot Posted October 2, 2016 Share Posted October 2, 2016 My game was crashing after using mods, so I went back to the steam workshop, unsubscribed a bunch I didn't need, went to the mods folder, deleted everything, and uninstalled the game. After reinstalling the mods work now.
