gamerdudex27
So I've been trying to make a mod. I have the animation stuff drawn out (I traced Wendy's atlas-0.tex but slightly redrew it to be my character) but now whenever I put my traced texture into the game and play it the character just appears as a bunch of white boxes/my texture jumbled up in the wrong places. I've overwrote Wendy's texture just for a quick test since I'd assume everything would be synced into place. I've even tried tracing other mod's textures but the same thing occurs. Am I doing something wrong when rendering it from a png to a tex with TEXTools or is it something completely different.
TheDanaAddams
You're copying the atlas-0 from another character, but I bet you're not also copying the build.bin from them too. You have to use the matching build.bin. And don't forget to edit the buildname. If you get stuck, follow this: http://forums.kleientertainment.com/index.php?/topic/27341-tutorial-the-artists-guide-to-characteritem-modding/

Now everything seems to work BUT the character still appears as glitched up boxes. I've copied Wendy's build.bin and replace the name in it, and all the stats and quotes work but not the character's physical appearance.
