[Request] A Don't Starve Tech Mod

I've been browsing the mods for quite a while and haven't seen any Tech mods. I'd love to be able to get even more science-y and create awesome machinery and eventually create a power grid of artificial light or something. I'm thinking similar to the Minecraft Mods, Industrial Craft 2 or Buildcraft.

 

I want to be able to tech up my Don't Starve world, so if any modder wants to take up a project like this I would be very happy.

That is something I might be willing to work on after we get the charlie mod in good order. Though if I do so it will be more of a Frankenstein/Steampunk type science to fit with the flavor of the game. 

 

Edit: In fact I might do a Igor type character to go along with it, mind you separate in that you will be able to access the science from anycharacter.

This post is now realy old, but I still want to write that I started working on that 2 weeks ago, autocrafting and an item transportsystem are already finished
