The group takes a look around, to assess the situation.  During daytime, every inch of the house is filled with light, and pigs are tending to every nook and cranny of the house.  There are also a few eye turrets, which Taggard assures will only strike if they see someone being attacked.  At night, the house is patrolled by Taggard's mysterious night guards, and the doors on each room are locked shut to prevent sleepwalkers.  While doing these assessments, the group often sees the crazy looking man, who is always scraping the same two spoons together.  He occasionally tests the edge of the spoon against his finger, which prompts a dot of crimson to appear.

(Well, since I can't use this in Essence of Soul, I just realized this would be perfect in Shadowfall. Celina's hallucinatory friend.

Name: Dippet

Age: Unknown

Gender: Genderless

Peronsality:

Appearance: A strange creature born from the mind of a human, this hallucination-esque creature has large, slender arms, it's "legs" a sliver of shadow rising from a blotch of shadow on the ground. Its head is a perfect sphere of shadow, scribble-like spots of faint light where eyes would be. A simple, yet useful creature.

Backstory: Most of us would put down those sounds and slithering shadows at night to an excess, or lack thereof, of sleep, caffiene, etc. But they are real; those gory murders and mysterious disappearances may not be the work of a madman, though they certainly flock towards these people. Ah yes, hallucinatory creatures. Many of them roam in around our bedrooms, and we never know about it, until fear or insanity strikes. Those creatures despise humanity; their power over humans have faded as myths and legends based on themselves have turned into disproven stories from science. Their power by gripping fear over people have weakened over the years, and they hunger for flesh. Correction; most hunger for flesh. Some creatures have been isolated from other hallucinations, born from the mind of most children, incorrectly called "imaginary friends". Of course, most of these creatures die out because the children that they have born from have forgotten or refuse to believe in them. With every rule, however, there is an exception. Those who are fortunate enough to be with a believing child can absorb enough life from the person to become living.... Abilities:

Insubstantial

This creature's existance is a peculiar thing; it cannot interact with physical objects, which may not be a problem if this creature could traverse through walls or of the like. Unfortunately, this creature is substantial enough to not be able to pass through physical barriers.

May I Come In?

This creature is bound by a rule that has been forged when created from the mind of a human; it cannot enter a household unless one of two conditions is met; if the owner of the property invites it in, or if the owner's mind becomes broken or shattered into insanity.

Power Through Insanity

When the minds of those around it fall into insanity, or when around an area of high fluctuations of magic, it becomes a more solid and powerful creature, negating and nullifying the abilities mentioned above. With this power, it can create tendrils, claws, wings, and other protrusions or limbs to attack or help others.

Side Notes: This creature has a fondness for humans, mostly those who have experienced the fall into insanity.

Just lazy stuff.)

Will turns to Dark Will.

"You ready to go steal some stuff?"

"Sure, why not. While I'm at it, would you like a cup tea as well?"

Will punches Dark Will in the arm.

"Just go do it tonight. You're the best for sneaking, and you do well in the dark, with that night vision. Charlie won't be a problem."

(You gonna reply to essence of souls? I think you should do something with the old man before i do my next post. As for this roleplay, Ayasha is pretty much just waiting for the others to get ready. Whoops, i see you responded to it. Nevermind, then.)
