(Looks like Taggard forgot to lock the doors...)
Pops stared at the orb. "What's that?" He pointed it out, too focused on it to notice that he was being watched.

[Battal]

"Oh, this ol' thing?"  Taggard says, looking at the orb.  "That's probably the most valuable thing I own.  More than this mansion and the land it sits on, I bet." 

[Blewcheese]

"Wow. Any idea what it is?"

[Battal]

"No clue."  Taggard says.  "It does keep the monsters away, though."

[Blewcheese]

"Interesting..." Pops thought to himself for a moment before quieting down again.

 

(Is Viti still with us? Does he get warded off by blue orb of mystery orb?)

[Battal]

(Viti died.)

The group exits the treasure room to find that it is growing dark outside.

 

"Oh, dear.  We had better get to our rooms."  Taggard says.  "You don't want to be caught in the halls at night."

 

He leads the group down another corridor to a set of sizable rooms.

After they leave, Ayasha tracks them down and follows them to wherever they were going. But makes a lot of noise while doing so.

 

She tries swiping a nearby object for her own survival, thinking its worthless to whoever she is following, and that they will be fine.

[Will]

Will face palms, and pull out his hand crossbow.

"How on earth have none of you heard this thing following us? Who's there, come out or I'll shoot, blah, blah blah, blah blah."

"It's about time..." She finally comes out of hiding in her Wolf form while standing on two legs. "I was wondering when you would find out."

[Blewcheese]

(When'd that happen?)

"Hmmm... You've caught me off guard. I applaud you." Pops turns to face the wolf while stepping towards the rooms.

[Will]

(Wait, Viti died? When the heck did that happen.)

"Huh. An anthropomorphic wolf. I've seen stranger. So, are you going to die via bolt, join us, or just bug us for awhile?"

[Strangerdanger101]

"I don't doubt that you've seen stranger, i can assure you i am no threat to you. I don't even really know who you are to be honest." After she finishes saying that, they realize they just said that in barks and growls instead of english... Of all the times to not be able to talk normally.

"Erm... None of you happen to speak wolf, do you?"

She facepalms (Facepaw?) herself. Thinking in her head: 'This is why i hate sometimes being able to speak in english and sometimes not. it makes people think i don't really like them or something silly like that.' She tries to say something else, but it comes out as a few growls and another bark.

[Battal]

"Hm.  Another visitor?  So be it."  Taggard says.  "I would suggest getting to your rooms as soon as possible.  You really, really don't want to get caught out at night."

[Strangerdanger101]

Her barks and growls finally turns into understandable english. "Okay, sorry about that. That happens sometimes. It's a long story. But i assure you i am no threat. I barely even know you anyways. So, what do you do?"

[Battal]

A clock somewhere rings, and Taggard quickly ushers them into their rooms.

 

"Now please, stay inside.  My night guards are...quite protective."

[Blewcheese]

"Right, thank you very much for your hospitality." Pops heads for one of the beds, exhausted.

"Where am i going to go? I can leave if you want, but still."

[Battal]

(You're in a room.)

(Doh, sorry. Wasnt paying attention. So, is it my room or just someone elses room? Probably just my room. Forgive my stupidity if it is.)

The group gets a long, well-deserved sleep, their first rest since they were killed by Shadowfall.  The sunlight streaming through the large windows of Taggard's manor awakens them.

(I know i had a stupid moment there, was just making sure.)

 

Ayasha ends up sleeping on the floor even though there is a bed, at this point even the floor feels more comfortable to them since its been such a long time since they've slept. She knew there was a bed, but she was used to sleeping on the floor.
